Supply Chain Supervisor at Trecora LLC – PASADENA, Texas

The Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for planning, managing, and supervising the execution of all “in-field” Supply Chain and Warehouse activities at the TRECWAX Pasadena Plant. This position manages daily operations of the “in-field” Supply Chain Teams, ensuring efficient inventory control, procurement, and distribution to meet customer demand. The position will analyze performance metrics (KPIs), maintain interplant relationships, follow and enforce safety protocols, and implement process improvements to reduce costs and optimize product availability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor staff, including managing performance and scheduling (what are they scheduling).
• Inventory & Logistics Management: Oversee inventory levels, ordering, and warehouse activities to ensure accurate fulfillment and minimize stock shortages or excess.
• Operational Efficiency: Analyze inventory data, supplier performance, and supply chain processes to identify bottlenecks and implement cost-effective improvements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with Commercial and Customer Service, Operations, IT, Procurement Departments, along with other Supply Chain Team Members to ensure product availability and align with demand forecasting.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Quality and Safety standards and company policies, including Environmental requirements, when applicable.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience required in supply chain, logistics, or inventory control, including 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Skills: Proven leadership skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and ability to build relationships and to influence at a local level and across a broad organization.
• Knowledge of supply chain industry standards and practices.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Datacor) and MS Office (especially Excel).
