The Director of Pricing and Monetization will lead the development and execution of pricing strategies that maximize revenue and profitability across a diverse product portfolio. This role combines analytical rigor with strategic insight, guiding pricing decisions through data-driven analysis, market research, and competitive benchmarking. You will lead a high-performing team, collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance, and ensure pricing models align with both market demand and business objectives. The position requires hands-on expertise in financial modeling, dashboard creation, and usage-based pricing frameworks, while also fostering continuous process improvement. By optimizing monetization strategies and simplifying pricing structures, you will directly impact growth and the long-term financial health of the organization. - Lead and develop a high-performing pricing and monetization team, ensuring alignment with business goals and market strategies
- Design, implement, and optimize pricing and packaging strategies across multi-product portfolios, balancing revenue growth and customer value
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis and market research to inform pricing decisions and identify revenue opportunities
- Define and monitor KPIs, financial metrics, and analytics to guide strategic decision-making and track performance
- Support sales teams in pricing negotiations and deal structuring to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
- Implement process improvements and governance enhancements to drive efficiency and consistency in pricing operations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Success to support new product launches and ongoing monetization initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- 8+ years of experience in pricing and monetization, preferably in Media, AdTech, or a related sector, including 5+ years in a leadership role
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling, data interpretation, and actionable insights
- Technical proficiency in Excel, Looker, and PowerPoint; Salesforce familiarity is a plus
- Experience conducting primary and secondary market research to guide pricing strategy
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, with experience presenting insights to stakeholders
- Collaborative mindset and strong problem-solving skills, with intellectual curiosity to drive innovative solutions
