The light designer is responsible for setting up and focusing the light fixtures, recording light cues and creating a correlating light cue sheet, and returning the light fixtures to the plot given by the Vienna Community Center post-production. In addition, the lighting designer will teach a crew of students the procedures of light design and implementation. The light designer will be trained on safe and efficient use of Town equipment (such as the lift and scaffolding) and will be responsible for ensuring safe and proper use of the equipment by VYP staff.
