Bookkeeper at Culinary Depot – Spring Valley, New York

Culinary Depot is seeking a full-time, in-office Assistant to the Controller to support our finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a growth mindset who is eager to learn and develop their accounting and bookkeeping skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records
• Approve and process invoices and expense reports
• Assist with sales tax filings
• Upload and track expenses and payments
• Maintain property bookkeeping and related records
• Support the Controller with ad hoc financial tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Recent graduate from an accounting or bookkeeping course or at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a finance/accounting role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
