This leadership role focuses on driving the strategy, execution, and growth of value demonstration and economic modeling initiatives within healthcare and biopharma. The Vice President will lead interdisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) studies that quantify the value of healthcare interventions. This position involves strategic client engagement, business development, and operational oversight of multiple projects. You will partner across business units to advance methodological excellence, deliver actionable insights, and support revenue growth. The role provides visibility with senior stakeholders and requires thought leadership in economic modeling, evidence synthesis, and payer requirements. Success in this role directly impacts organizational growth, client relationships, and the broader adoption of evidence-based healthcare strategies.
- Lead and manage a team of research professionals delivering value demonstration and economic modeling studies in the biopharma sector
- Drive strategic growth of VDEM services, overseeing business development, client relationships, and revenue generation
- Partner with senior leadership to shape business strategy, prioritize resources, and execute initiatives that enhance operational and methodological excellence
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring high-quality evidence generation, economic modeling, and real-world evidence analyses
- Mentor, develop, and retain talent, providing career guidance, onboarding support, and professional growth opportunities
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate insights, identify strategic solutions, and optimize service offerings
- Represent the organization externally as a thought leader in HEOR, engaging with clients and stakeholders on study methods, results, and implications
Requirements:
- 10–12+ years of experience in HEOR, health economics, or related fields, including at least 4 years in consulting or leadership roles
- Postgraduate degree preferred (PhD, MD, PharmD) or Master’s degree in health economics, public policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, or public health
- Proven expertise in economic modeling, value demonstration, and comparative effectiveness research
- Strong knowledge of US payer evidence requirements, including CMS, ICER, and private payer standards
- Demonstrated leadership in project delivery, client management, and business development
- Skilled in translating complex data and models into actionable insights for clients and executive stakeholders
- Excellent strategic and technical writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to oversee multiple accounts, projects, and teams simultaneously, driving both operational excellence and business growth
