Job Description: Director of Sales — Florida
Job Type Full-Time / Salaried
Reports To Chief of Staff
Base Pay $120,000 – $150,000
Scope Florida — ORL, TPA, OCA, PSL, FTM, JAX

Position Summary
The Director of Sales — Florida leads the largest market in the ProFormance sales organization, overseeing 6 branches and up to 12 AMs and Jr Reps. This role is accountable for Florida revenue, gross margin performance, market share growth, and talent development.
Core Responsibilities
• Drive Florida revenue and GM$ performance against targets across all 6 branches
• Coach AMs and Sales Reps weekly using the rolling 4-week dashboard — identify trends and flag at-risk reps early
• Conduct quarterly leveling reviews for all FL branch reps — approve or defer promotions
• Own Florida hiring — partner with recruiting to fill open AM and Sales Rep seats per the branch coverage plan
• Serve as executive relationship escalation point for major FL builder accounts
• Partner with BDMs on FL market strategy — provide market intelligence and support first-community execution
Qualifications
• 7+ years in new construction sales with 3+ years in a sales management role
• Deep knowledge of the Florida new construction market across multiple metros
• Proven ability to develop and retain sales talent — track record of promoting from within
• Data-driven management style — comfortable using dashboards and metrics as primary coaching tools
