Day in the Life
As a Moulder Supervisor, you will oversee the day to day operations of the Moulder department, ensuring safety, quality, production, and customer expectations are consistently met. Your day will involve supervising employees, coordinating production schedules and shipments, ensuring safety training compliance, and working closely with Sales, Maintenance, and leadership to resolve quality and service issues. You will also manage production and downtime reporting, maintenance planning, and electronic order systems to keep operations running efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and enforce safety training, audits, and accountability for all Moulder employees.
• Supervise daily Moulder department operations including production, quality, housekeeping, organization, and maintenance.
• Plan and manage Moulder run schedules and shipments.
• Work closely with the Sales department to resolve customer quality and service concerns.
• Ensure all quality standards are met and quality processes are followed.
• Oversee production reports, downtime reports, time and attendance data entry, and administrative tasks.
• Direct maintenance activities and preventative maintenance planning for Moulder equipment.
• Maintain strong communication with Sales regarding orders, priorities, and special requests.
• Lead, develop, and hold associates accountable to performance and safety expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dry End Superintendent.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Past work experience in the pattern lumber manufacturing process.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on safety, quality, and accountability.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts as needed to support a two-shift operation.
• Strong computer skills, including use of electronic order and reporting systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Supervisory experience in pattern lumber or finished lumber operations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience directing maintenance activities.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in production reporting, downtime analysis, and maintenance planning.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
• Ability to work in a noisy industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, and work around moving equipment.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to wear and operate required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including weather exposure.

The base salary range for this position is $74,600- $111,900. Actual base salary is based on the experience and qualification of the selected candidate.
