This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Account Manager – Strategic Sales in India.
This role is focused on driving long-term growth and value within a portfolio of strategic enterprise customers in a high-performance SaaS environment. You will own key customer relationships and be responsible for expanding revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and ensuring strong renewal outcomes. The position requires close engagement with engineering-led organizations, where you will collaborate with technical and executive stakeholders to understand evolving needs and unlock new opportunities. You will operate in a fast-paced, remote-first setup that emphasizes ownership, autonomy, and customer obsession. This is a high-impact role where success is measured by retention, expansion, and deep, trust-based partnerships with global customers. You will also work cross-functionally to ensure alignment across sales, product, and customer success teams.
- Own a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts with full responsibility for retention, expansion, and long-term revenue growth.
- Drive upsell, cross-sell, and renewal strategies across multi-product SaaS offerings.
- Identify expansion opportunities using customer usage data, business goals, and organizational insights.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with technical stakeholders, engineering leaders, and executive decision-makers.
- Lead renewal processes by reinforcing product value, ROI, and business impact to ensure predictable outcomes.
- Proactively identify churn risks and collaborate with internal teams to mitigate them effectively.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Support to maximize account success.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data in CRM systems to support business visibility and planning.
- 5–8 years of experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology sales, with a strong focus on account management or expansion roles.
- 2–3 years of dedicated experience in Account Management, farming, upsell, or cross-sell roles.
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue retention, expansion, and net revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models and customer lifecycle management.
- Experience engaging with technical audiences such as engineering teams and senior executives.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly customer-centric mindset with the ability to operate in fast-paced, remote-first environments.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering or Technology background is a plus.
- Global or international account management experience is an advantage.
