Heat Seal Press Operator 1 (2nd Shift Hours) at Ahead LLC – New Bedford, Massachusetts

JOB SUMMARY:
The Heat Seal Press Operator level 1 is responsible for transferring heat applied decorations to product while maintaining a high level of quality and production.

SCHEDULE:

• 3:30 pm – 12:00 am Monday – Friday with Overtime (during the week) as required.

COMPENSATION: The hourly pay range reflects the actual compensation that Ahead, LLC; the employer reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of hire. The final offer will be determined by a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.

• $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• None

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet and exceed production standards.
• Meet and exceed quality standards.
• Verifying products and components are correct for order.
• Prepare products for production.
• Prepare heat press for production.
• Ensure excellent quality for decorations/products produced.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to move around the facility.
• Ability to move, reach, kneel and crouch.
• Ability to use hands, fingers, and arms to touch, handle, pinch, or grasp.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Exposure to moderate noise level.

VISION REQUIREMENT:

• Close vision
• Color vision
• Ability to adjust focus.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:

• Closed toe footwear is required when entering the Production Floor.
