Req ID: R424-2026

Description:

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Vice President of Asset Management to lead value creation across a geographically assigned portfolio of retail, mixed-use, office, and/or multifamily assets. This role serves as the economic owner of the portfolio, with full accountability for leasing performance, NOI growth, capital deployment, and execution of asset-level strategies.

You will operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on dealmaker—driving complex transactions, repositioning assets, and partnering cross-functionally to unlock long-term, risk-adjusted value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Asset Strategy: Develop and execute business plans that drive leasing performance, revenue growth, and long-term asset value.
  • Lead Deal Execution: Negotiate and structure complex leasing transactions, setting deal terms and driving outcomes.
  • Drive NOI Growth: Deliver same-store NOI performance through disciplined leasing, expense management, and operational optimization.
  • Allocate Capital Effectively: Underwrite and oversee redevelopment and value-add investments aligned with demand and return thresholds.
  • Influence Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with Leasing, Property Management, Development, Finance, and Legal to ensure aligned execution.
  • Provide Leadership: Mentor and develop asset management team members while fostering a culture of accountability and performance.

What You Bring

  • 15+ years of commercial real estate experience, preferably across retail or mixed-use portfolios
  • Proven track record of value creation through leasing, redevelopment, and strategic repositioning
  • Strong deal-making and negotiation experience with complex lease structures
  • Deep understanding of asset valuation, capital allocation, and financial performance management
  • Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional partners
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus

Why Join Us

This is a high-impact leadership role with direct ownership of asset performance and strategy. You’ll have the opportunity to shape portfolio outcomes, lead meaningful transactions, and contribute to long-term value creation within a collaborative, performance-driven environment.
