POSITION: Registered Nurse (with some travel within KY)
LOCATION: Nicholasville, KY

QUALIFICATIONS:
• hold an active Kentucky Registered Nursing License
• unencumbered Kentucky Driver’s License
• able to travel within 100 miles of the Nicholasville facility

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TRAINING:
• Provide primary nursing care to our residents, including the oversight of medication administration (residents self-administer meds), detox monitoring, and evaluation of medical complaints.
• Collect and review all medical labs ordered by physician.
• Serve as the primary liaison with the staff physician.
• Prepare and assist the clinician with group needs.
• Be able to recognize problems associated with alcohol use and other drug use, symptoms requiring referral for emergency care, degree of intoxication, stages of withdrawal, and the physical or mental complications that may occur at each stage.
• Perform a comprehensive nursing assessment on all new admissions
This role is split between operating in the residential facility and coordinating partnerships. Additional responsibilities include:
• Travel to partnership locations in Central Kentucky to administer injections, deliver medications, collect vital signs, perform GeneSight and other tests, and collect phlebotomy. (mileage will be reimbursed)
• Act as primary liaison between the outpatient clinic, pharmacy, and outpatient partnership locations.

SHIFT: three 12 hour day shifts
