Purpose: The Lube Technician – Level C is responsible for basic maintenance services and will follow established checklists and works under close supervision of other more tenured technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills and grow your technician career. Earn as you learn and develop with our Incentive plan on top of your hourly rate!
Requirements:Required Skills
· Oil and filter changes
· Battery Installation and basic electrical checks
· Cabin/engine air filter replacement
· Lubrication services
· Basic inspections (fluids/belts/wipers/brakes)
· Check tire pressure and change as needed
· Cleaning work areas, supporting higher level technicians as needed
· Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
· Work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
· Positive attitude and a customer service mindset
· Some experience in using computers and diagnostic tools for vehicle diagnostics, accessing repair instructions
· Basic math and counting skills for performing repair estimates and parts ordering when needed
· Document diagnostics, repairs, parts used, and recommendations clearly and accurately.
· Communicate findings with service advisors and customers when needed.
· complete repairs, vehicle inspections, and shop duties, including reaching overhead, bending, stooping, and other physical tasks
· Uphold shop standards for cleanliness, organization, and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
· 0-2 years’ experience working as an automotive technician
· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
· Commitment to safety, quality, timeliness, and continuous learning.
Bonus Qualifications
· 1- 2 ASE Certification(s)
· Some diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
· Basic Hand Tool set
Responsibilities
Safety
· Wear ANSI Z87.1+ impact-rated safety glasses at all times.
· Use prescription safety glasses or approved safety eyewear if corrective lenses are needed.
· Wear safety footwear (slip-resistant, impact-rated).
· Use gloves appropriate to the task (chemical, cut-resistant, heat).
· Follow all OSHA, EPA, and company safety procedures.
· Use lockout/tagout when working on electrical systems or high-voltage components.
· Lift vehicles using certified lift points; inspect lift arms and safety locks before elevating a vehicle.
· Handle batteries, chemicals, coolants, and oils according to safety standards.
· Keep work areas clean and free of trip hazards, oil spills, and debris.
· Use proper ventilation when working with exhaust, fumes, solvents, or adhesives.
· Report any hazards, malfunctioning tools, or unsafe conditions immediately.
· Inspect tools daily and report or tag out damaged equipment.
· Operate scan tools, lifts, alignment machines, and specialty equipment only if trained.
· Follow manufacturer instructions for airbag systems, high-voltage components, and ADAS systems.
Physical Requirements
· Capable of lifting up to 50lbs without assistance or team lift
· Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 60 minutes at a time)
· Ability to reach above head and at should height, push, pull , bend kneel and work in tight spaces

Note: This role is a fast-paced auto environment with constant noise, moving equipment, power tools, and frequent physical activity including standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting for extended periods. Must be able to work in varying temperatures depending on shop conditions.
