This role offers the opportunity to build and operate a globally distributed cloud platform powering next-generation AI-driven applications. You will take ownership of complex, multi-cloud infrastructure supporting high-scale, production-grade systems used worldwide. Working at the intersection of cloud engineering, Kubernetes, and modern GitOps practices, you will help shape how reliable, secure, and automated infrastructure is delivered. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and security teams in a highly technical environment. The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, operational excellence, and continuous improvement of platform reliability and developer experience. It is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving, cloud-native ecosystems and enjoys solving large-scale infrastructure challenges.
You will be responsible for designing, operating, and evolving highly available multi-cloud infrastructure supporting large-scale AI-driven workloads.
- Own and manage cloud infrastructure across multiple providers and regions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and GitOps practices for automated, auditable deployments.
- Operate and scale Kubernetes clusters in production environments across global regions.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows to support efficient platform delivery.
- Design secure networking and identity architectures, including zero-trust models across hybrid environments.
- Build and improve observability, incident response, and operational readiness for always-on systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform performance, reliability, and developer experience.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to infrastructure standards, documentation, and engineering best practices.
Requirements:
You bring strong experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a focus on scalability, automation, and production reliability.
- Extensive experience designing and operating large-scale cloud or platform infrastructure with high availability and disaster recovery.
- Deep expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Proven hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production environments such as GKE, EKS, or AKS.
- Strong knowledge of GitOps workflows and tools such as ArgoCD or equivalents.
- Solid experience with AWS and/or GCP, including networking, compute, storage, and identity services.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines, ideally using GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity, and zero-trust security principles.
- Ability to automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Python or Go.
- Experience managing on-premises or hybrid Kubernetes environments, including bare metal deployments.
- Strong communication skills and experience working in distributed, cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, automation-driven mindset with strong ownership of production systems.
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical documentation and standards.
