Clinical Coordinator (Acute Care) at Holzer Health System – Gallipolis, Ohio

Works under the supervision of the Unit Manager to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise patient care on a nursing unit. Provides coaching, guidance, and evaluation of work performance of nursing staff. Creates an environment that supports the Nursing Care Model. Contributes to the mission and goals of Holzer Medical Center as well as meeting the requirements of corporate compliance, TJC, and other regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Education, Work Experience and Licensure:

· Minimum of 2 years Acute Care Nursing Experience

· Holds current licensure in the State of Ohio as RN

· BSN preferred either nursing or healthcare related

· CPR – Required

· ACLS – Required within 6 months of employment

· PALS – Recommended (See Specific Unit Requirements)

· Professional Certification- Recommended

· Strong demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills; good oral, written and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and organization skills.
