About This Position
GA Foods is seeking a Hot Food Coordinator to join our team in St. Petersburg, FL. This role is ideal for someone with strong computer skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
The Hot Food Coordinator provides administrative and clerical support to the Packing and Kitchen departments. We are looking for a self-starter who embraces our One Team culture and is eager to contribute to a growing organization.
This is a full-time position with potential overtime, bonuses, and a full benefits package.
Essential Duties
Provide administrative support as directed by the supervisor
Coordinate daily meal counts by customer and menu, enter data into the system, and process worksheets and labels
Distribute menus and labels to hot food staff
Ensure accuracy of counts, menus, special orders, menu exceptions, and holiday menus
Learn and maintain knowledge of all menus
Create, update, and maintain menu data using Word, Excel, and internal systems
Develop new program files as needed, including Latchkey and NCN Department 48
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Qualifications
High school diploma required
Some college coursework or degree preferred
Preferred Skills and Experience
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Typing speed of 35 to 40 words per minute and 10 key proficiency
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to meet attendance standards
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly
Frequent use of hands and finger dexterity throughout the workday
Exposure to a production environment including food debris, odors, noise, temperature changes, and wet areas
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
