Director, Paid Social Performance Marketing

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Paid Social Performance Marketing in United States.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for owning and scaling a major paid social growth engine within a fast-paced digital health environment. You will drive performance across a nine-figure budget while shaping full-funnel social strategy that spans awareness, consideration, and conversion. The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on analytical depth, requiring close partnership across creative, analytics, product, and marketing teams. You will define how paid social evolves as a core revenue driver, leveraging advanced measurement frameworks and emerging AI capabilities to improve efficiency and insight generation. This position demands a strong point of view on creative strategy, experimentation, and platform innovation. You will also lead and develop a high-performing team while influencing cross-functional growth initiatives at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and scale the paid social acquisition channel, managing a nine-figure annual budget and driving performance against CPA, ROAS, and growth targets
  • Define and evolve full-funnel paid social strategy, expanding beyond lower-funnel optimization to include awareness and consideration impact
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Creative, Analytics, Product, and Marketing teams to identify and execute high-impact growth initiatives
  • Build and optimize a rigorous testing roadmap across audience targeting, creative performance, platform features, and campaign structure
  • Translate complex measurement frameworks (MMM, MTA, incrementality testing, conversion lift studies) into actionable investment decisions
  • Leverage AI, automation, and advanced tooling to improve campaign execution, reporting efficiency, and performance insights
  • Oversee creative strategy and production in partnership with internal stakeholders and external agencies
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing performance marketing team across multiple levels
  • Identify and launch new paid social opportunities, betas, and experimental initiatives to unlock incremental growth
Requirements:

This role requires deep expertise in performance marketing and paid social strategy, combined with strong leadership and analytical capabilities. Candidates should bring extensive experience scaling large-budget acquisition programs in high-growth, data-driven environments, with a strong ability to translate insights into business impact.

  • 10+ years of experience in performance or growth marketing, with ownership of large-scale budgets (8–9 figures)
  • Deep expertise in paid social platforms, particularly Meta, and strong understanding of auction dynamics and optimization levers
  • Proven experience designing and executing full-funnel marketing strategies across acquisition and brand-building efforts
  • Strong knowledge of marketing measurement frameworks including attribution, incrementality testing, and MMM/MTA methodologies
  • Hands-on experience leveraging AI, automation, or advanced analytics tools to improve marketing efficiency and decision-making
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to simplify complex data into clear recommendations
  • Demonstrated leadership experience building, scaling, and mentoring high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions and levels
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary with equity compensation for full-time roles
  • Unlimited PTO, company holidays, and quarterly mental health days
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid parental leave and family support programs
  • Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP)
  • 401(k) plan with employer matching contribution
  • Offsite team retreats and collaborative events
  • Remote-first flexibility with a strong focus on work-life balance.
