Senior Communications Specialist

KeenLogic is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to support our team with one of our government clients. This position supports Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) in delivering outreach, training, and communication initiatives.

The role supports strategic communications, event planning, and outreach activities. Responsibilities include coordinating with leadership, developing communication materials, managing events, and supporting website updates.

This is a 5-year contract. This is a hybrid position that includes up to three days per week at the Pentagon. KeenLogic offers Fortune 500-level benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off (PTO), 401(k), and life insurance.

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance

• Bachelor’s degree OR Master’s degree

• 10+ years of experience with a bachelor’s OR 8+ years with a master’s

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate communication strategies

• Organize events and outreach initiatives

• Develop promotional and educational materials

• Support website updates and digital communications

• Collaborate with leadership on communication planning

Required Work Experience

• Planning and organizing events

• Providing logistical support before, during, and after events

• Creating promotional and educational materials

• Providing updates to web sites

Preferred Work Experience

• Experience with overseeing the development of multi-media outreach campaigns involving multiple stakeholders
