Responsibilities:

• Develops and formulates new oral solid dosage nutraceutical products (tablets, capsules, and powders) in alignment with customer specifications, product labels, and/or reference samples.
• Manages new product development activities and revises existing formulations as needed to meet quality and performance standards.
• Prepares nutraceutical formulations in accordance with testing protocols and performs all required analytical calculations.
• Enhances ingredient performance and overall product functionality to improve quality, cost efficiency, and manufacturability for both new and existing products.
• Creates Supplement Facts and Nutritional Facts panels for developed formulations.
• Reviews and updates Master Formulas to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency.
• Develops detailed product monographs and prepares technical documentation and progress reports.
• Conducts research on clinical studies related to active ingredients to support formulation decisions.
• Provides technical support to both domestic and international clients.
• Reviews and ensures accuracy of documentation required for international product registrations.
• Monitors, analyzes, and interprets data throughout all stages of product design and development.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience in product formulation or development.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Working knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and manufacturing processes, including blending and compression.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
