This role sits at the intersection of clinical research, biomedical data science, and healthcare informatics, contributing directly to the mission of expanding equitable access to clinical trials. You will work on complex clinical and genomic datasets, helping design and maintain scalable data pipelines, ontologies, and terminology systems that support regulatory-grade platforms. The position requires strong collaboration across cross-functional teams to translate incoming healthcare data into structured, usable insights. You will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, consistency, and interoperability across clinical and biological data sources. Operating in a mission-driven and fast-evolving environment, you will help shape foundational data infrastructure that enables faster and more inclusive patient access to life-saving therapies. - Perform source-to-target data mapping across clinical and healthcare datasets, including EHR and structured biomedical data.
- Develop scalable models and automated workflows to improve data mapping, integration, and transformation processes.
- Evaluate, validate, and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of diverse clinical and genomic datasets.
- Contribute to the design, expansion, and maintenance of ontologies, controlled vocabularies, and healthcare data standards.
- Support the development of terminology libraries and structured knowledge representations within clinical data platforms.
- Conduct quality control checks and query large-scale datasets within a regulatory-grade data environment.
- Identify, assess, and integrate informatics tools and external data sources to enhance platform capabilities and user experience.
- Provide input into data architecture design, analytical frameworks, and algorithm development for clinical data processing.
Requirements:
- Strong background in bioinformatics, clinical data science, biomedical informatics, or related quantitative discipline.
- Experience working with clinical, biomarker, and/or genomic data, including ontology or terminology systems.
- Familiarity with healthcare standards such as ICD, SNOMED, and LOINC.
- Experience ensuring data quality, including validation of completeness, accuracy, and consistency across datasets.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and/or SQL for data analysis and pipeline development.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work across complex, heterogeneous datasets.
- Collaborative and adaptable working style, with strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
- Preferred experience in oncology research or clinical genomic applications is a plus.
