Position Overview: We are seeking a Commercial Lines Claims Representative to support clients throughout the commercial insurance claims process. This role serves as a key client advocate, ensuring claims are reported accurately, monitored closely, and resolved efficiently. The ideal candidate brings strong claims knowledge, attention to detail, and a client-first mindset to help businesses navigate claims with confidence and clarity.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time position intended for a candidate based in the Southeast Region. Work location (remote, hybrid, or in-office) will be determined based on business needs and the candidate’s location.

Professional Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients during the claims process, providing timely updates and responsive support.
• Collect, review, and document claim details from insureds to ensure accurate and complete claim reporting.
• Submit commercial claims to insurance carriers promptly and in accordance with carrier requirements.
• Review policy declaration pages to confirm applicable commercial coverages and set appropriate expectations with clients.
• Track and monitor open claims, following up with carriers to support timely and fair resolution.
• Advocate on behalf of clients by addressing coverage questions, claim delays, or service issues with carriers.
• Maintain detailed claim documentation, including payments and reserves, within the agency management system.
• Collaborate with internal teams through regular meetings, claims reviews, and cross-functional communication to ensure alignment and consistency.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Prior experience working in commercial lines insurance, with exposure to claims support, account management, or client service.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, policies, and claims processes.
• Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and professionally.
• High level of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple claims and priorities effectively.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining accountability for assigned responsibilities.
• High School Diploma/GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred.
