Job Overview

Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.
Schedule: Monday Friday, with weekends and overtime as needed.
Project Scope: Commercial HVAC-R Service & Operations.
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Universal EPA License and Valid Drivers License.
The Opportunity You will step into a unique hybrid leadership role designed to transition you into a salaried Service Manager position within nine months. Working directly under the mentorship of our COO, you will master operational leadership while remaining the technical authority in the field. This is a rare career bridge for an elite technician ready to move from tools to management within a rapidly scaling multi-state platform.
How You Will Make an Impact
Execute advanced diagnostics and repairs on large-scale commercial RTUs, VRF/VRV systems, and boilers.
Collaborate with the COO to develop the operational skills required for high-level service management.
Mentor junior technicians in the field to elevate the team's technical proficiency and safety standards.
Direct complex field operations and scheduling coordination to ensure seamless service execution.
Perform high-level mechanical repairs, including precision brazing, welding, and electrical diagnostics.
Validate field workmanship through quality control audits and on-site technician development.
Maintain critical customer accounts by providing expert technical consultations and professional communication.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 10 years of professional commercial HVAC-R experience.
Current Universal EPA Certification and a valid driver's license with a clean record.
Proven experience independently troubleshooting large-scale commercial mechanical systems.
Previous experience in a leadership or foreman-level capacity within the trades.
High proficiency in using digital dispatching tools and mobile documentation platforms.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Direct experience with commercial refrigeration, rack systems, or industrial chillers.
Strong background in controls integration and advanced system diagnostics.
Demonstrated history of training, coaching, or mentoring junior field staff.
