This role sits at the intersection of compliance, data, and technology, supporting critical initiatives within AML, Transaction Monitoring, and KYC domains. You will work closely with business stakeholders, compliance teams, and technical experts to translate regulatory requirements into clear, actionable business and functional specifications. The position involves deep engagement with data analysis, process optimization, and solution delivery across financial crime compliance systems. You will contribute to improving risk detection, regulatory alignment, and operational efficiency within complex financial environments. Operating in a collaborative and fast-paced setting, you will help ensure that compliance solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with evolving regulatory expectations. - Gather, analyze, and document complex business and functional requirements across AML, Transaction Monitoring, and KYC processes.
- Collaborate with compliance, business, and technology stakeholders to define objectives, pain points, and success criteria for regulatory initiatives.
- Translate business and regulatory needs into detailed user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and data mapping documents.
- Support end-to-end solution delivery including design validation, UAT planning and execution, and implementation support.
- Perform data analysis and profiling to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that support financial crime detection and compliance decision-making.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend scalable improvements to systems and workflows.
- Maintain requirements traceability, manage change requests, and ensure consistent project documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in business analysis, compliance technology, or financial crime transformation programs.
- Strong expertise in AML compliance, including Transaction Monitoring (TM) and KYC processes.
- Hands-on experience with AML platforms such as Oracle Mantas, OFSAA, FCCM, or similar systems.
- Strong data analysis and data profiling skills within financial crime or regulatory environments.
- Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL and/or PL/SQL) with ability to work with complex datasets.
- Working knowledge of Python or other data analytics tools is highly desirable.
- Experience working in regulated financial institutions or consulting environments is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of AML, fraud, and broader financial crime regulatory frameworks.
