This senior leadership role is responsible for defining and driving the commercial direction of a leading healthcare technology organization. You will act as a strategic partner to the Chief Revenue Officer, shaping how the business prioritizes growth, where it competes, and how it wins across key markets and customer segments. The role combines high-level strategic planning with data-driven decision-making, ensuring commercial focus is aligned with the highest-impact opportunities. You will influence go-to-market direction, segmentation strategy, and expansion priorities across both existing and emerging healthcare markets. Acting as a key connector across sales, product, marketing, finance, and customer success, you will help translate complex insights into clear executive narratives. This is a highly visible role with direct impact on revenue growth, market expansion, and enterprise-level decision-making.
- Define and lead enterprise commercial strategy, including market focus, competitive positioning, and growth prioritization across healthcare segments.
- Develop customer segmentation strategy, including ideal customer profiles, customer mix optimization, and expansion opportunities.
- Identify and prioritize growth areas across non-acute care, ambulatory, ASCs, and other emerging healthcare markets.
- Provide strategic commercial input on partnerships, assessing alignment with growth objectives and revenue potential.
- Partner with the CRO to shape executive narratives, board materials, and strategic communications.
- Define go-to-market direction at a strategic level, including segmentation, positioning, and commercial play design.
- Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Customer Success to align strategy with execution.
- Leverage commercial analytics and insights to inform decision-making, including segmentation models, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Use AI-enabled tools to enhance strategic analysis, scenario modeling, and decision support.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial strategy, go-to-market leadership, consulting, or related strategic roles.
- Strong background in healthcare technology, enterprise software, or complex regulated industries preferred.
- Proven experience partnering with executive leadership and contributing to board-level strategy discussions.
- Deep expertise in segmentation, commercial modeling, and data-driven strategic planning.
- Strong understanding of go-to-market strategy, customer lifecycle, and revenue growth levers.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear business insights.
- Exceptional communication and executive presence, with strong storytelling and influence capabilities.
- Experience working across cross-functional leadership teams in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Familiarity with AI tools for analysis and decision support is a plus.
