In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of web and desktop applications through structured testing practices and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will contribute to defect identification, validation processes, and continuous improvement initiatives within an agile delivery environment.
- Execute manual test cases for web and desktop applications to validate functionality and identify defects.
- Perform WebAPI testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or Swagger to validate endpoints and data integrity.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and define effective test coverage.
- Log, track, and prioritize defects while supporting developers in resolution and retesting cycles.
- Participate in CI/CD and DevOps workflows, contributing to continuous testing and delivery processes.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new updates do not impact existing system functionality.
- Support improvement of QA processes, documentation, and testing standards within the team.
- Learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and testing methodologies in a fast-evolving environment.
The ideal candidate is an aspiring QA professional with foundational knowledge of software testing principles and a strong interest in quality engineering. You are analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in agile, remote-first teams.
- 0–2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of manual testing concepts, test case design, and defect lifecycle.
- Familiarity with WebAPI testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or Swagger.
- Basic understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps/CI-CD concepts.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly report technical issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setup.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Exposure to tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or scripting languages (Python/JavaScript) is an advantage.
- Interest in healthcare IT or enterprise software environments is a bonus.
