Residential & Light Commercial | Existing Homes & New Construction

About the Role

We’re looking for a driven HVAC Apprentice Installer to join our installation team supporting residential and light commercial projects, including existing homes and select new construction work. This role works alongside a Journeyman Installer on active job sites and is expected to meaningfully contribute to overall job performance while actively developing technical skills.

This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in their work, shows initiative, and is motivated to grow into a highly skilled HVAC professional.

What You’ll Do

As an HVAC Apprentice Installer, you will:

  • Support the installation of HVAC systems, accessories, and ductwork to company and code standards

  • Actively assist the Journeyman/Lead Installer to keep jobs on schedule and organized

  • Prepare job sites by protecting customer property and staging materials efficiently

  • Install, insulate, support, seal, and connect ductwork under supervision

  • Assist with equipment set, PVC venting, exhaust terminations, and basic system components

  • Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites from start to finish

  • Load, unload, stock, and organize tools, equipment, and materials

  • Accurately complete required paperwork, timecards, and job documentation

  • Interact professionally with customers, builders, and teammates

  • Follow all safety rules, use PPE, and maintain an accident-free work environment

  • Participate in training, certifications, and skill development opportunities

What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record

  • Ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written)

  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn

  • Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools

  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials with assistance

  • Commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism

Preferred (Not Required)
  • Prior HVAC, construction, or trade experience

  • EPA Certification or willingness to obtain

  • NATE Support Technician Certification or interest in pursuing

  • Experience on residential or light commercial job sites

  • Pay Range: $19–$29 per hour, depending on experience
