Currency Exchange International is looking for a skilled and motivated Account Executive to join our Sales Team! This is a hybrid position, based in Orlando, FL.
Summary: The Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new client opportunities, building and managing a sales pipeline, and owning ongoing commercial relationships with assigned accounts to support retention, expansion, and long-term success. This role blends outbound prospecting, early-stage sales engagement, and post-sale account oversight to grow recurring business across a diverse client landscape.
The ideal candidate is competitive, self-motivated, and comfortable owning both prospecting and post-sale customer engagement while collaborating closely with internal teams.
Essential Functions:
- Identify, research, and prioritize prospective clients across a variety of segments.
- Conduct outbound outreach through phone and email to generate and qualify new business opportunities.
- Lead discovery conversations to understand client needs, operational workflows, transaction volumes, and decision-making processes.
- Build and manage a revenue-driven pipeline, consistently meeting activity, meeting, and opportunity creation targets.
- Manage assigned accounts post-sale, serving as the primary commercial point of contact for ongoing relationship management.
- Support client retention through regular check-ins, business reviews, and proactive engagement aligned to client usage and business needs.
- Support ongoing account management by nurturing client relationships, re-engaging existing or dormant accounts, and identifying expansion opportunities.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts by aligning CXI solutions to evolving client requirements.
- Present CXI’s solution offerings, including value propositions and competitive differentiation.
- Coordinate introductory and follow-up meetings with prospective clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Compliance, Product, and Technology teams to support onboarding and ensure a strong client experience.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, activity tracking, forecasting, and pipeline reporting.
- Share insights with leadership regarding market trends, competitive dynamics, and client needs.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in prospecting strategy, sales messaging, and sales process effectiveness.

Required Education & Experience:
- Experience in business development, sales development (SDR/BDR), or account management preferred.
- Experience working in a metrics-driven environment with activity, meeting, and pipeline targets.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; equivalent experience accepted.
