• Competitive Pay: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour.

As a Support Coach, you are the bridge between our participants and the world around them. You will transport participants directly into the community to:

• Foster Independence: Help participants implement their own service plans, focusing on what they want to achieve.
• Drive Connection: Use your personal vehicle to transport individuals to job sites, volunteer opportunities, and social events, ensuring they have the access they need to thrive.
• Be a Mentor: Provide on-the-spot coaching and support to help individuals build social skills and workplace confidence.
• Document Success: Use digital tools to track daily activities and progress, providing vital feedback on what’s working best for each person.

We look for compassionate, reliable individuals who are ready to hit the ground running. You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Have a Heart for Service: You are at least 18 years old and have a genuine desire to work with the IDD community.
• Are Mobile: Since this is a community-wide role, you’ll need a reliable vehicle, a valid CA driver’s license, a clean driving record, and auto insurance with policy limits acceptable to VPCI's insurance carrier.
• Stay Active: You are comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and staying mobile throughout the day.
• Communicate Clearly: You can connect well with others and utilize technology for daily organization.
• Are Prepared: You are willing to work variable hours and complete standard requirements like a background check and drug screening, I-9, W-4, application, etc.
