Guest Representative Senior at RWJBarnabas Health – Toms River, New Jersey

The Guest Representative Senior ensures that Volunteer Department is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of Fast Pass and Epic, computer literacy, answering phones, concierge, Application process, Pet therapy knowledge, and scheduling,
• Management Experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• N/A

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full Time, 40 hours per week
• Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm

Essential Functions:

• Promotes positive relationship between Hospital and individual volunteers National Volunteer Week and Holidays. Communicates with birthday, get well, sympathy cards as appropriate and patient visits.
• Responsible for the overall direction and management of the volunteer workforce, including recruitment, developing formal job descriptions and, where needed, working closely with Department Directors to fill their requests with training for appropriate placements.
• Processing applications and updating volunteer computer program
• Printing daily reports, scheduling for Information Desk, and stocking supplies
• Monitors lobby appearance as necessary, picking up litter, straightening chairs or contacting EVS to assist.
• Provide accurate directions to patients and visitors to all areas of the Medical Center.
• Receives and responds to all inquires for patient information and answers phones.
• Responds within 30 minutes to all complaints and concerns received at the Information Desk by contacting the appropriate individual for resolution.
• Greets all public entering the facility consistently with a smile and positive attitude.
• Consistently, proactively asks if the public needs assistance.
• Escorts patients and public to destination when appropriate.
• Verify and log all deliveries of patient belongings, flowers, fruits, and other items.
