Physical Therapy Assistant in Pomona, California at Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides Physical Therapy Services to patients and clients within the regulations and scope of practice as determined by the Physical Therapy Board, Department of Consumer Affairs, State of California, and under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapist Assistant provides interventions and education services to patient/clients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. The Physical Therapist Assistant does not provide evaluative services nor modify treatment programs established by Physical Therapists. Qualifications: Licensed by or Approved as a License Applicant by the Physical Therapy Board, Department of Consumer Affairs, State of California. CPR/AED is required. Applicants with current BLS may be hired, but must obtain AHA CPR/AED within thirty days of employment. Prefer one (1) year in rehabilitation setting.
