About the Program

The Bindery Apprenticeship Program is a structured, hands-on training initiative designed to prepare individuals for a professional career in the commercial printing and finishing industry. Apprentices gain real-world experience while learning essential technical skills in folding, stitching, trimming, and binding.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum age: 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Willingness to work in a team and take direction
  • Commitment to completing a multi-month apprenticeship program

Program Structure

  • Duration: 4-year structured training
  • Format: 60% on-the-job training, 40% classroom/lab-based instruction

  • Safety & Tools
  • Binding Techniques
  • Equipment Operation
  • Finishing & Quality Control
