Job Description: Provides professional primary nursing care to ante partum, laboring, postpartum, and gynecological patients; medical/surgical overflow patients; and orthopedic patients.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.Current, valid, and unrestricted RN license from NC or compact state.BLS certification.CPI certification required at first opportunity after hire.NRP knowledge of fetal monitoring and orthopedic specific training within 1 year of hire.Incumbent will be required to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to newborn and adult, and orthopedic patients.

Preferred: BSN, MSN, National Board Certification in Clinical area of Specialty.

Experience: No experience required. Given training an on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in basic aspects of job within 3 months.
