IT Systems Engineer at Orca Bio – Sacramento, California

More than one million people in the United States today are fighting blood cancer. While a traditional allogeneic stem cell transplant has been the best hope for many, the transplant itself can prove fatal or lead to serious conditions, such as graft vs. host disease. Orca Bio is a late-stage biotechnology company redefining the transplant process by developing next-generation cell therapies with the goal of providing significantly better survival rates with dramatically fewer risks. As an IT Systems Engineer at Orca Bio, reporting into our IT Manager, you will take on the responsibility of building, supporting, maintaining, and optimizing the IT infrastructure on premise and in the cloud.

To thrive, you must possess a strong technical foundation across systems and cloud platforms, along with a proactive, problem-solving mindset. You should be comfortable automating routine tasks, and driving improvements through scalable, secure, and reliable solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, as youll be working cross-functionally to support fast-paced research, development, and production environments. A strong sense of ownership, adaptability, and a passion for continuous learning will set you apart.

Location: This is an in-office position, based at our production facility in Sacramento.

The anticipated annual salary range for this job is based on prior experience in the role/industry, education, location, internal equity, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. For remote-based positions, this range may vary based on your local market.
