The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview: Patient Care Associate’s perform a variety of routine and advanced patient care tasks under the direction of nursing staff to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and care of patients. They perform a variety of clerical and technical tasks as assigned. Qualifications: Required:- High School Diploma or GED
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association only
- Phlebotomy certified within 6 months of employment
- Completion of related technical education course
- On-the-job training or completion of Fundamentals in Nursing course Ability to perform all competencies

One year of nursing assistant experience
- BLS certification through American Heart Association Phlebotomy certified within 6 months of employment
- Nights 3:00PM-3:30AM
- Every other weekend required
- Full-Time Mandatory Orientation
- Participate in patient care interventions and personal care procedures for patients
- Perform approved dressings and wound care
- Participate in nutritional activities
- Assist with personal hygiene
- Assist with ambulation
- Assist with bowel and bladder elimination
- Provide such additional care as required to meet the personal needs and comfort of assigned patients
- Determine, prepare and set up medical supplies and equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Prepare patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to include obtaining specimens, taking vital signs and measurements, positioning patients and attaching equipment leads to specific body locations
