Senior Construction Administrator

About the Role

Cyntergy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Administrator to lead the construction phase of our retail and volume architectural and engineering projects. You’ll serve as the bridge between design and construction—ensuring our projects are built to the highest standards of quality, schedule, and budget.

What You’ll Do
• Lead construction administration for assigned projects: manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications.
• Conduct site observations and prepare detailed field reports to verify conformance with drawings, specs, and codes.
• Provide estimating support throughout the project lifecycle:
• During design, collaborate with project teams to prepare cost estimates, validate budgets, and identify constructability opportunities.
• During construction, evaluate contractor pricing, review change orders, and support budget tracking.
• Enforce quality control and perform technical reviews for coordination and compliance.
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to proactively resolve issues.
• Mentor junior team members in CA best practices and project communication.

What You’ll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5–10 years of progressive CA experience with an A/E or design-build firm.
• Strong knowledge of contract documents (AIA), specifications, and construction standards.
• Proficiency in Procore, Newforma, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to travel for on-site reviews as needed.

Preferred
• Licensed Architect or Engineer (or in progress).
• Experience with retail projects—ground-up, remodels, or national rollout programs.
• BIM familiarity (Revit).
• Certifications: PMP, CCM, AEP, or CEP.
• LEED or sustainable design experience.

Why Join Us

  • Family-friendly, team-oriented culture that values professional development.
  • Opportunities to contribute to meaningful, community-focused projects.
  • Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
  • Paid medical + dental coverage
  • 401K match
  • Paid holidays
  • Paid time off
  • Paid parental leave
  • Flexible working schedule
