Maintenance Tech at Creation Technologies – Dallas, Texas

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment, building facilities, fixtures and services

• Work with the equipment suppliers for maintenance and repair of equipment during warranty and post warranty

• Work and coordinate with the building service contractors

• Should be able to do minor repair of broken plumbing, light fixtures, spills, leak etc.

• Be prime in implementing changes in the facility layout through relocating equipment, benches, workstations and services connected to them

• Maintain the building cleanliness and respond to building maintenance requests

• Maintain the outside facilities such as salt, ice removal from sidewalk etc.

• Various similar duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Background and experience in maintenance of manufacturing equipment or building services

• Strong analytical skills to logically identify and analyze the problems and apply systematic troubleshooting approach

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Flexible to work overtime, on various shifts, and be available to work occasionally on weekends in case of an emergency

• Good communication skills and be able to deal with vendors for resolving equipment issues

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• May, on occasion, spend an extended amount of time standing or walking in a production environment

• The incumbent must possess enough strength to safely maneuver around product up to 50lbs without injury to themselves or others

• Capable of accepting and completing work assignments with minimal supervision in a highly motivated manner, fast paced and high-pressure situations

• The working environment is generally clean; however, the incumbent may be exposed occasionally to dust

• The incumbent is required to wear ESD and safety gears while working in safety sensitive areas
