You don't just monitor delinquency trends; you forecast them and build the infrastructure to mitigate risk. You have a deep background in Accounts Receivable management and a sophisticated understanding of how to balance aggressive cash flow maximization with a premium customer experience. You excel at translating complex data into actionable strategies that ensure the department scales efficiently while maintaining a flawless regulatory posture.

What You’ll Do:

  • Departmental Leadership: Define the vision and roadmap for the Collections department. Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous professional development.
  • Strategic Architecture: Design and execute data-driven collection strategies (e.g., scoring models, automated dunning cycles) to optimize recovery rates and significantly reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
  • Systems Mastery: Serve as the functional owner of the collections process, utilizing various platforms to manage customer lifecycles and identifying automation opportunities to drive departmental efficiency.
  • Data Analysis & Executive Reporting: Leverage Power BI to present high-level AR health metrics, cash flow forecasts, and KPI performance to the Finance Director and executive team.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on federal and state regulations (FDCPA, FCRA, etc.). Establish internal audit protocols to ensure 100% compliance across all communication channels.
  • Cross-Functional Optimization: Partner with Sales and Customer Success leadership to refine the "lead-to-cash" lifecycle, resolving systemic billing disputes and improving the overall customer journey.
  • Policy Development: Author and maintain comprehensive credit and collection policies that align with the company’s evolving financial goals.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable/Collections, with at least 2-3 years in a management-level role overseeing a full department or specialized function.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced hands-on experience with Various CRM platforms and data visualization tools like Power BI.
  • Software Skills: Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for complex financial modeling and Teams/Outlook for cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Knowledge: Deep expertise in B2B high-volume/low-dollar environments and a sophisticated understanding of credit risk management and commercial law.
