Salary Structure:
Fire Recruit: Salary Range- $18.19 per hour starting rate (2704 annual hours)

Firefighter: $20.07 per hour starting rate (2704 annual hours)
Firefighter Paramedic: $22.12 per hour starting rate (2704 annual hours)

FIREFIGHTER SELECTION PROCESS: All applications will be reviewed to ensure minimum qualifications have been met. Those meeting the minimum qualifications will be invited to complete the written exam administered by Human Resources and a physical abilities test administered by Alabaster Fire Department. Candidates who successfully pass both the written exam and physical ability test will be scheduled for an interview before a panel of representatives from the Alabaster Fire Department. Apply today!
