Job Overview

Ford Plumbing & Air is seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing/HVAC Install Technician to join our growing Field Operations team. This is a full-time, performance-driven opportunity for a technician who takes ownership of their work, installs systems with precision, and maintains high professional standards on every jobsite.

This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for a technician with proven plumbing and/or HVAC installation experience who can work efficiently, communicate clearly with customers, and complete installations the right wayevery time. If you are self-motivated and want your compensation directly tied to your performance, this role offers long-term growth and earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform residential and light commercial plumbing and HVAC installations
• Install HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, fixtures, and related components to code and manufacturer specifications
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and ensure proper system functionality
• Present a professional image and communicate clearly with homeowners throughout the installation process
• Follow company installation systems, checklists, and pricing structures
• Utilize mobile field software for documentation and job reporting
• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and jobsite
• Complete accurate documentation and job reports daily
• Participate in daily shop check-ins
• Uphold company safety, quality, and workmanship standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of plumbing and/or HVAC installation experience highly preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Professional appearance and presentable dress required
• Comfortable using iPads, iPhones, and mobile field software
• Ability to work effectively with team members and other departments
• Reliable, accountable, and system-driven
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
