- Design, develop, and maintain data integrations between internal platforms and client systems, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Build and support HL7/EDI interfaces and REST APIs using integration engines and modern frameworks
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and external stakeholders to define technical and business requirements
- Ensure accurate data ingestion, transformation, validation, and monitoring across multiple systems
- Document integration workflows, system architecture, and technical processes for maintainability and compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, optimizing performance and data quality
- Manage multiple integration projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals
- Promote best practices in data architecture, interoperability standards, and interface development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in data integration, interface development, or related engineering roles
- Strong expertise in healthcare data standards such as HL7 (v2/v3), X12, FHIR, and JSON
- Proven experience with integration engines (e.g., Cloverleaf) and API development using .NET or similar technologies
- Solid understanding of database systems, data transformation, and validation processes
- Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and backend system optimization
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as SQL, Java, .NET, or similar
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and system architecture concepts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a distributed environment
