Operations Clerk at Supply Chain – Desoto, Texas

This req is for Operations Clerk on 1st Shift

Position: Operations Clerk- Returns

Shift: First Shift

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm

Pay: $20.75

The core responsibilities of this role include:

• Following up with shipping CSRs on inbounding RGAs daily
• Damage coding for all RGA claims per request of the customer
• Photo capturing of all damages coded within RGAs daily
• Uploading and researching claims added to the Kohler portal for customer review
• Yard audits of dropped trailers with RGAs associated by CSRs daily
• Partnering with CSRs and Kohler on shipping STOs to other plants based on items not extended to DT

Role Purpose:

Provide clerical and administrative support to the assigned location

Key Accountabilities:

• Codes delivery manifests and prepares billing.
• Compiles statistical information from manifest data and prepares related report.
• Inputs delivery information into computer.
• Assists with dispatching as needed.
• Handles owner/operator settlement problems.
• Contacts customers to confirm delivery details.
• Checks postponements and cancellations against delivery manifest.
• Prepares purchase orders for signature.
• Answers telephones.
• Types correspondence for department managers.
• Maintains the department files.

Required Education and Experience:

• 1-2 years related experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
