Design Build Project Summer Internship
Location: Denver and LA
Duration: Summer Internship / Jun 1st-August 1st (dates can change)

🌟 Role Overview
The intern supports all aspects of design build project activities across active projects, contributing to design, analysis, testing, documentation, and coordination tasks. The role is ideal for students seeking hands‑on design and construction experience in a fast‑paced, technical environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, modeling, and modification of baggage handling system components using CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
- Participate in project planning activities, including scheduling, documentation, and progress tracking.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (manufacturing, quality, procurement, operations) to support project execution.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Assist in prototype builds, testing, data collection, and reporting.
- Conduct research on materials, components, and industry standards to support design build project activities.
- Help identify and troubleshoot mechanical or process issues during project development.
- Present project updates and findings to engineering and/or project team leadership.

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
- Active study of related foundational coursework (Statics, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Materials, CAD).
- Basic proficiency with 3D CAD software.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
đź’ˇ Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Autodesk design tools (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD).
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes (machining, injection molding, welding, additive manufacturing).
- Exposure to project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana).
- Hands‑on experience with lab equipment, prototyping, or mechanical systems.
