This role offers the opportunity to lead and shape Talent Acquisition operations across North America, driving large-scale recruiting strategy and operational excellence. As Senior Director, Talent Acquisition, you will oversee a high-performing team of Talent Acquisition Managers, optimize workforce planning, and leverage AI and analytics to enhance efficiency and hiring outcomes. You will ensure globally consistent practices while allowing regional flexibility to meet local needs. This position requires strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence executive leadership while maintaining a strong focus on candidate experience, diversity, and operational efficiency. You will play a critical role in scaling recruitment operations, introducing innovative technologies, and shaping the talent strategy to support business growth. The environment is fast-paced, data-driven, and centered on continuous improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Talent Acquisition Managers and their teams across North America, driving leadership growth, succession planning, and recruiter enablement programs
- Implement enterprise Talent Acquisition strategy regionally, balancing global consistency with local adaptation
- Oversee operational performance, including capacity planning, goal setting, metrics tracking, DEI outcomes, and candidate experience initiatives
- Manage adoption of AI-enabled tools, analytics, and technology solutions to optimize sourcing, screening, and scheduling
- Control regional TA budget and oversee staffing vendors, contract staff, and technology partners
- Serve as a player-coach, managing high-priority hiring requisitions for executive and senior leadership roles
- Ensure compliance with employment law, pay transparency, internal controls, and data privacy standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including People & Culture, People Analytics, Compensation, FP&A, Legal, and Workforce Planning to ensure alignment with business needs
Requirements:
- 10+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, including leadership of large-scale or multi-region operations
- Proven track record in scaling recruiting operations and implementing AI and technology solutions
- Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and ability to influence executive leadership
- Experience leading large teams of both people managers and individual contributors
- Ability to operate across multiple sites or markets with a global mindset while accommodating local nuances
- Experience with KPIs, metrics, workforce planning, and operational excellence
- Preferred: experience in the data center industry or comparable sectors
- Expertise in recruiting technology stack, AI-enabled tools, and ATS systems
