This role offers a high-impact opportunity to drive operational transformation across a large, multi-site healthcare network. You will lead initiatives that enhance efficiency, optimize resource utilization, and improve overall performance while maintaining a strong focus on patient experience. Working closely with leadership teams at both corporate and operational levels, you will translate strategic objectives into scalable, practical solutions. The position combines analytical rigor with hands-on execution, requiring strong change management and stakeholder engagement skills. You will play a key role in identifying improvement opportunities, implementing best practices, and scaling successful initiatives across multiple locations. This is an ideal role for a results-driven professional passionate about continuous improvement and operational excellence in complex environments.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead end-to-end operational improvement initiatives across multiple sites, from diagnostic assessment through implementation and performance tracking.
  • Identify and execute efficiency improvements, including optimizing staffing models, enhancing resource utilization, and improving throughput and scheduling processes.
  • Partner with operational leaders, field teams, and stakeholders to drive sustainable change through effective coaching, communication, and engagement.
  • Apply continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance operational performance.
  • Develop and standardize toolkits, playbooks, and best practices that can be scaled across the broader organization.
  • Serve as a project lead for cross-functional strategic initiatives, supporting organizational growth and transformation objectives.
  • Analyze operational data to generate actionable insights and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MHA, or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience leading operational improvement or performance transformation initiatives, ideally within healthcare or similarly complex environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated experience in change management and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels without direct authority.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in productivity, utilization, throughput, or cost optimization.
  • Experience in ambulatory surgery centers or healthcare operations is strongly preferred.
  • Background in process improvement, industrial engineering, or consulting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to travel occasionally (approximately 10–20%) to support on-site initiatives.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Life and disability insurance options.
  • Flexible spending accounts (FSA), health savings accounts (HSA), and dependent care benefits.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.
  • Generous paid time off, including holidays and paid family leave.
  • Opportunities for professional development, training, and career advancement.
  • Remote work flexibility with occasional travel.
  • Supportive and collaborative work environment focused on continuous improvement and growth.
