Staff Data Scientist (AdTech Expert) (f/m/d)
adjoe is a leading mobile ad platform developing cutting-edge advertising and monetization solutions that take its app partners’ business to the next level. Part of the applike group ecosystem, adjoe is home to an advanced tech stack, powerful financial backing from Bertelsmann, and a highly motivated workforce to be reckoned with.
Meet Your Team: adjoe Ads Data Science
Ads are everywhere in mobile games. What is annoying to some is a challenge to us. We have set out to re-define the mobile ad tech market by creating advertisement experiences that are engaging for end users while at the same time profitable for our publishers and advertisers.
The high-frequency nature of ad tech provides us with unique challenges to solve each day. Already now we are doing more than 10 billion predictions every day using state-of-the-art machine learning models (GDCN). And we are just getting started!
We firmly believe in self-built and self-hosted technologies backed by open-source tools and cloud providers to deliver rock-solid performance. Our team is equipped with all the necessary tools to test out new ideas offline quickly and launch A/B tests on production within minutes. And if we find that something is missing, we just build it ourselves. Our mobile SDKs not only render our ads, but they can also provide us with the necessary data to deeply understand our users’ behavior.
It is no question to us that Data Science is the heart and brain of a successful ad tech product. The adjoe Ads Data Science team manages the entire bidding algorithm from start to end, including the essential parts: conversion prediction, user quality estimation and bid shading. We give everyone the space to do what they do best, but at the same time we give them the freedom to explore new areas and learn new skills. We are a fast-moving team that rapidly translates theory into impactful solutions, using state-of-the-art technologies and collaborating closely with product and business stakeholders.
