What you’ll be doing:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Intern to join our lab team. This role is a blend of administrative support and hands-on laboratory maintenance. You’ll be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring our documentation is flawless and our testing environment is pristine.
This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to get your foot in the door of a professional QC environment and learn how an industrial lab functions from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
- Documentation & Admin: Manage lab paperwork, archive test records, and assist with data entry into our quality management systems.
- Lab Stewardship: Maintain a clean and organized workspace. This includes meticulous cleaning of specialized glassware and general housekeeping of the lab benches.
- Instrument Care: Perform basic cleaning and daily checks on analytical instrumentation to ensure everything is ready for testing.
What You’ll Learn
While the core of the role is administrative and maintenance-focused, we are committed to your professional growth. You will be mentored and trained by senior staff on our analytical instrumentation and methods. You’ll get a front-row seat to:
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Hands-on basic operation of lab equipment (e.g., HPLC, FTIR, and LCMS).
- The lifecycle of quality control in a manufacturing setting and the compliance needed to maintain ISO 9001.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Currently pursuing or a recent graduate with a degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related science field.
- Detail-Obsessed: You understand that in a lab, a small clerical error or a dirty beaker can change everything.
- Eager to Learn: You aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves for cleaning tasks because you know it’s the best way to learn the equipment.
- Reliable: You’re organized, punctual, and take pride in "doing things the right way."

- Comfortable with extended periods of sitting (e.g., during travel), as well as standing and walking during on-site visits.
Work Environment:
- This position splits time between a professional office setting and laboratory.
- Office work is generally sedentary and performed in a climate-controlled environment.
- Travel may involve long flights, remote locations, and variable schedules based on customer and site needs.
- Must be adaptable to a dynamic environment with competing priorities and high-level business engagement.
