Position Summary:
Perform warehouse operations duties as assigned. Picking Sales Orders or Discrete Jobs, unload and receive inbound shipments, put away Receipts and Discrete Jobs, perform inventory counts, prepare Sales Orders for shipping, load shipments into trucks, wrap shipments, replenish picking locations for Sales Orders and Discrete Jobs. Work in Assembly/MFG area as needed, based on demand. Must ve a functional expert ( perform all duties efficiently, know Oracle system, and have a high degree of accurcy) in one or more warehouse operations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work with warehouse layout and implement warehouse improvements.
- Maintain personal performance (accuracy and efficiency) consistent with Ergotron's business objectives.
- Arrive at work on time, plan time off requests, and be available for over-time as needed.
- Properly place and position material in storage locations to ensure material safety and prevent damage.
- Be available for other duties as required at the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor or other management.
- Maintain housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
- Safely and effectively operate power equipment and perform daily equipment inspections.
- Perform all duties in a manner that supports the maintenance of an accurate inventory.
- Supports “Lean Business Enterprise” initiatives for continuous process improvement and waste elimination
- Additional duties as requested
Position Requirements (Knowledge and Experience):
- High School diploma or GED.
- 1 or more years of experience working in a warehouse position.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely operate fork trucks ans secure/maintain the proper certification.
- An ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and written.
- An ability to think clearly, takes initiative, and work independently.
- Working competence with personal computes including Windows, Excel, and Word.
