Inventory Clerk - Temporary Project at Ferroworks LLC – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

McConway & Torley is seeking a Temporary Inventory Clerk for our storeroom. This role is project based, and expected to last at least approximately 3 months.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Shift: 6am-2pm

What you’ll be doing:

• Storing, labeling, and tracking inventory using computerized systems and handheld scanners
• Performing inventory counts, inspections, and basic quality checks as required
• Operating forklifts, company vehicles, and material-handling equipment safely
• Maintaining organization and proper storage of materials throughout the storeroom and warehouse
• Supporting loading, storage, and movement of materials according to established procedures
• Complying with all safety policies, including use of required personal protective equipment
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet operational goals

What you’ll need:

• Ability to safely operate a forklift; certification preferred or ability to obtain
• One year of related warehouse, storeroom, or inventory experience preferred
• Working knowledge of inventory systems, scanners, or computerized tracking tools
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including lifting, standing, and working in industrial conditions
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, including respiratory protection
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a team

Working Conditions:

• Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
• This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
• Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant

• Know and follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.
