Senior Accountant at EBS Recruiters LLC – St. Louis, Missouri

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee key accounting functions and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership capability, and the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries and support the month-end close process
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable accounting standards and regulations
• Handle tax reporting, filings, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Participate in and support external audits, including preparation of audit schedules
• Assist with ERP system implementation and ongoing system improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting needs

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
• Proficiency with accounting software, particularly QuickBooks
• Experience participating in ERP implementations or system upgrades
• In-depth understanding of accounting regulations and financial reporting
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
