ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Processing Post-retail Goods

The Clearance Center attendant is responsible for assisting with the processing of post-retail goods rotated off the Retail Store sales floor. Functions include but are not limited to the following…

• Ensures that the loading and unloading of trucks is performed utilizing sound safety practices with the aid of material handling equipment as needed and that accidents are reported in a timely manner to the immediate supervisor.
• Assist in efficient movement of post-retail goods in the production areas to the workstation and sales floor.
• All donations should be processed within 24 hours.
• Remove hard goods and apparel from material handling equipment, sort and hang according to the Clearance Center procedures.
• Transport racks of hung apparel and hard goods using the proper material handling equipment to sales floor using the proper material handling equipment.
• Rotate apparel and hard goods rotation from the sales floor according to the Clearance Center procedures.

Cashier and Customer Service

The Clearance Center attendant is responsible for providing essential register operations, world class customer service, and sales floor functions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following…

• Commit to adhering to all AGI Clearance Center “cash handling” procedures.
• Greet customers at entry.
• Provide superior customer service by assisting customers in locating and purchasing goods.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized sales floor and dressing room.
• Follow all safety and security procedures. Report accidents/injuries and safety/ security concerns to the appropriate staff.

Other Functions

• Demonstrate alignment with AGI’s Guiding Principles and Core Values.
• Attend required in-service training and team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good work ethic.
• Must be able to use a cash register, calculator, credit card processing machine correctly and make change accurately.
• Able to perform basic math skills.
• Able to follow instructions and comply with policies and procedures.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude and a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, reach and stand for extensive periods of time.
