Janitorial - Rock Bottom Rest and Brewery at KRG, LLC – Colorado Springs, Colorado

Job Duties

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies safely and to company's safety standards.
• Clear debris from grounds and parking lots.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snow shovels and spread snow melting chemicals.
• Notify Management Team of needed supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, and ladders to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
• Other duties as assigned related to the operation of the restaurant.

Qualifications and Requirements

• The ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• The ability to visually discern cleanliness, maintenance needs, and safety issues.
• The ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 100 pounds.
• The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
• Must be able to climb a ladder and be comfortable with heights.
